Russia Slowly Opens. Ferry, OVF, Tech-Stop Allowed. All Airports Open

Russia slowly lifts the ban on international flights.

Starting 21 SEP flights are permitted to/from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea. Earlier in August and September flights were resumed from the UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Tanzania, Egypt, the UAE and Maldives. Czech Republic is expected to join very soon.

There is no quarantine required, passengers must produce a negative PCR test that is less than 3 days old.

General aviation flights are as always allowed to overfly, cargo, ferry, transit and tech-stop. All airports remain open.

Russian authorities are strict only permitting entry to residents of countries on a reciprocal basis, so we believe the further reopening will be gradual and international operations will resume back to normal step-by-step.

Meanwhile Russian consular offices continue to be half-closed and tourist visas are not granted in the countries apart from mentioned above.

Nevertheless crew visas are being issued to all nationals and the "crew visa on arrival" procedure is available at select airports in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
